Reflections from the Heart of a Tired (But Purpose-Fueled) Business Owner
Not long ago, my oldest daughter reminded me of something she had done eight years ago—she wrote a letter to her future 18-year-old self. A letter from a younger, more wide-eyed version of her, filled with hope, intention, and dreams.
That same week, my YBB Connect group shared a prompt that hit me straight in the gut: "If your future self wrote you a letter from one year ahead, what would she thank you for doing today?"
And just like that… it clicked.

This is where I’ve been.
Tired.
Overwhelmed, some days.
But also? Deeply committed.
Because I am building—every single day—with relentless heart and hope. I’m creating resources, systems, and support through both CVA and TVL so that others don’t have to hustle quite so hard. So that the burden is lighter. The path is clearer. The steps forward don’t feel so steep or lonely.
It’s the same way I parent: not to remove all of life’s challenges, but to equip my kids with what they need to face them well. To give them tools and mindset shifts and love that allow them to rise stronger when life inevitably gets tough. And honestly, that’s exactly what we do here at CVA and over at TVL.
We build with you and for you.
So maybe you’re reading this in the middle of your own tired season. Or maybe you're still in the brainstorming stage of what could be. Wherever you are, I want to invite you to pause and ask yourself:
What would future you thank you for doing today?
Would she be grateful you reached out for help? That you finally documented that messy SOP? That you handed off your inbox to a pro so you could focus on scaling? That you believed in your idea enough to get started?
Let this be the sign. The soft nudge. The warm hug from someone who gets it.
We see you. We are you. And we’re building this for you.
Let's Rise Together,
Megan
