Corcovado National Park

If you want to spot some wildlife on your trip, definitely stop by Corcovado National Park. The first step in experiencing this stop is the journey of getting there — depending where in Costa Rica you are staying, Corcovado National Park is located near the small town of Drake Bay. Typically, you will need to stay in an eco-lodge located near the town, and can fly in, arrange private transportation, or get there by boat.

Corcovado National Park is a great place to see all the amazing wildlife nestled in the lush rainforest and natural greenery in Costa Rica. From large cats (think pumas and jaguars), sloths, crocodiles, and monkeys, to all types of bird species, as well as turtles and lizards. A nature lover's dream!

Tabacon Hot Springs

You’ll find Costa Rica’s “largest network of naturally flowing thermal mineral springs” at Tabacon Hot Springs. If you’re exhausted from all the adventure and excitement, or you just want a little TLC this trip, you’ve found the right place. Here you can experience a luxury stay, a spa, and the thermal hot springs, combined with a deep immersion with nature. This is the perfect place to escape and de-stress.

Arenal Volcano

If swimming isn’t your thing and you prefer to stay a bit closer to land, definitely check out Arenal Volcano National Park. This park features Costa Rica’s most active volcano, as well as the chance to spot some wildlife too! Many different tours are available depending on what you’re interested in, from walking tours and suspension bridges, all the way to water activities and hot springs. There’s a little something for everyone here.

Tarcoles Crocodile Bridge

Last but not least we have the Tarcoles Crocodile Bridge, for those who like to live on the edge. For anyone willing to take a closer look, there are also boat tours offered, but for obvious reasons, patrons are asked to keep their hands and feet in the boat at all times.
